Why do we use Credit Call?
CreditCall specialise in the processing of credit and debit card payments. They are certified to the highest level of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) so you know the transaction data that they process is in the safest possible hands.

They also have four global processing nodes and multiple network redundancy to ensure our payment services keep working with unparalleled reliability. In 2005 CreditCall became the first company to gain cross-region Level 1 PCI DSS certification. PCI DSS has now become a requirement for all UK businesses who wish to accept credit card and debit card payments.

How do I actually know the page I enter my card details is secure?
SSL technology encrypts the information you submit before it leaves your computer. This ensures no one else can read it except the authorised party. Subject to your browser settings, an alert may also appear to notify you when you're entering a secure page. You'll know when you're on a secure page when you see 'https://' (rather than the standard 'http://') before the web address. A closed padlock icon also appears in your browser's status bar. We use a company called SellerDeck who specialise in hosting secure pages that work in conjunction with Creditcall. Below is what you will see in your address bar when we request you to enter your card details.

Why can my order only be sent to my Card Statement Address?
To ensure that we are actually dealing with the card holder we only dispatch goods to the Card Statement Address as confirmed by the AVS check below. This is to protect both you and us against fraud. Alternatively, you can pay for the order via Cheque or Bank Transfer.

Why do you not accept payment by card for International Orders?
At present AVS checks are only available to us on UK registered cards, therefore as we cannot confirm the registered card address on foreign cards we regret that we cannot accept such payments. We can supply our UK or Euro Account details for payment for such orders.


CreditCall will carry out the following checks automatically on your card to help us eliminate fraud.

Address Verification System (AVS). This checks the cardholder address entered as the 'invoice address' on our website website to that registered with the card issuer. If there is a mismatch, the transaction will be declined or flagged as suspicious. Please do not dispute such checks with us as we are not provided with any other information to confirm otherwise.

Card Security Code (variously known as CVV2, CVC2 or CID). This is the three-digit code printed on the signature strip of MasterCard and Visa credit and debit cards.

3-D Secure (Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode). This is a system where as part of the payment process, an online connection is made with the issuing bank and the cardholder is required to enter a previously agreed PIN code or password.

Fraud Screening with The 3rd Man. This is a risk management tool where as part of the payment session, the details entered by the customer are compared with a number of third-party databases. A risk 'score' is then provided and we can decide whether to allow the transaction or seek additional verification from you.
